TGIM – Week of July 6th 2015

How it works: Every Monday I will publish a Thank God, It’s Monday (TGIM) post and invite you to do the same–write about a TGIM insight or experience–on your respective blogs/social media accounts. You may share a link to your post at the comments section; then, on my next Monday’s post, I will include the links that you shared so that we can all encourage one another with our happy vibes! Sounds good?

It’s a wet, cloudy, challenging, yet still-blessed Monday!

Two bloggers recently shared their TGIM posts, and they’re such blessings. Check them out:

So what’s got me TGIM-ing today?

Over the past week, I’ve been reviving efforts to be healthier and more fit. Having realized last Wednesday that I literally could not remember the last time I did any form of physical exercise, I decided this…horrid lethargy…had to stop. I’m starting slowly, with squats and some walking, but I’m praying to be running again shortly. Perhaps as soon as the rain stops?

These last days have also been spent catching up with people; on top of the list, of course, is the hubby. I’m also cooking again almost everyday — as part of my “living healthy” initiative. Veggies are back on the table, so yay!

Today, too, we saw a glimpse of what may be an extra source of livelihood for us. We’re not sure yet whether the potential will actually turn into something concrete, but just having that potential is already a clear message to us from God: He is in control, and He’s got us covered.

For all these and so much more, I am thankful, and looking forward to what the rest of this day (it is only 6:13 PM, after all), and this week, will have in store.

Okay, it’s your turn. Make your own TGIM post on your blog or FB page, and comment below with a link to said post. Or, if you wish, post your story/insight straight below.

Have a great week!

  1. Haha! Yes, exercise, that thing most feared yet most needed by sedentary persons such as myself. It’s encouraging to read others’ efforts and triumphs at becoming physically fit, so I’m eager to read your post! 🙂
